Crédit Photos : LNC / M.VaningShow me more

Arnaud... Starts (Arkéa-Samsic) strong on the Tour de Vendée!With an Ekoï Aerodinamica helmet, Ekoï PersoEvo 8 glasses and Ekoï clothingThe Tour de Vendée, last round of the Coupe de France FDJ, will remain in collective memories for being the first race won by Arnaud Démarre under his new colors. On the occasion of Laurent Pichon's (Arkéa-Samsic) last stand before his sporting retirement, the entire red and black team was mobilized to put the new sprinter from the Breton house into orbit. Assuming their responsibilities very early in the race, the teammates of Clément Russo (Arkéa-Samsic) controlled the breakaways and led a strong pace as they approached the final circuit. Well carried into the final hectometers and also benefiting from the work of his former training, Arnaud Démarre shows himself to be the fastest and offers himself a first bouquet in the Arkéa jersey. Jenthe Biermans (Arkéa-Samsic) victorious in the sprint on the 2nd stage of the Skoda Tour of LuxembourgWith an Ekoï Aerodinamica helmet, Ekoï Ottimo glasses and Ekoï textileThe Skoda Tour du Luxembourg is quite successful for cyclists wearing Ekoï products. After the victory of Corbin Strong (Israel-Premier Tech) yesterday, it is the turn of the Belgian sprinter from the Arkéa-Samsic team to triumph. In a rainy stage, several courageous people stood out by interfering in breakaways like Pascal Eenkhoorn (Lotto-Dstny) or Ewen Costiou (Arkéa-Samsic). The 189 kilometers of the day seemed destined for "big thighs" and yet even the energetic Victor Campenaerts (Lotto-Dstny) did not manage to complete the kilometer... Finally, well sheltered and hidden in the horde of sprinters, Jenthe Biermans comes to beat the favorites in the last 25 meters to score a second personal victory this season (after the Muscat Classic). Ekoi and Tour de France : Back to 3 weeks of racingA good 'harvest' for Ekoï: 3 victories and a very fighting spiritFor this 110th edition of the Tour de France, four Ekoï teams were on the starting line: Israel Premier-Tech, Arkéa-Samsic, Cofidis and Lotto-Dstny. It didn't take long to see one of them shine. Second stage and the first victory obtained thanks to a masterful look from Victor Lafay (Cofidis), who surprised the strongest by starting at the kilometer to cross the line alone. Enjoyable! A week later, the experienced Michael Woods (Israel Premier-Tech) made a fantastic climb of the very difficult Puy de Dôme. Returning one by one to his adversaries, he defeats them in the most severe percentages. Mythical ! During the 12th stage, Cofidis distinguished again with the Spanish rider Ion Izaguirre, author of an irresistible ride of 30 kilometers rewarded with a superb and indisputable victory. Solid ! Many cyclisrts also distinguished themselves. Among them, it is impossible not to mention the Belgian Victor Campenaerts (Lotto-Dstny) with many breakaway attempts, often at kilometer 0. In Paris, it is not by chance that he won the super combative trophy. Krists Neilands (Israel Premier-Tech) found himself in the “right shot” several times and showed remarkable combativeness. Guillaume Martin (Cofidis) was damn pugnacious by hanging on throughout the mountain stages. His 10th place overall is well deserved. On the sprint side, we note the second and third places of Caleb Ewan (Lotto-Dstny) and the third place of Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) in the green jersey classification. The Arkéa-Samsic formation also showed up at the front of the race: and in the first place Laurent Pichon who put on a show for 155 kilometers (!) Back to stage 20 : Belfort > Le Markstein FelleringA magical stage: Barguil ensures the show, Campenaerts, never two without three! The 133.5 kilometers of this penultimate stage of the Tour promise to be nervous, especially since the profile offered to the 151 surviving riders does not include a single meter of flat. The game can begin: do "vosges", nothing goes!In this little game, the first to reveal their hand are the two runners from Lotto-Dstny Campenaerts and De Buyst. From the opening of the curtain orchestrated by the master of ceremonies Christian Prudhomme (director of the Tour de France), the two friends try a sleight of hand by packing their trunks alone, in the Ballon...d'Alsace.A waste of time... In the descent, they reappear in the eyes of their adversaries and are immediately left behind. Thank you gentlemen for this issue!A few hectometres later, a group of about twenty units forms at the front. We find there in particular Izagirre and Zingle (Cofidis), the other great attacker of this Tour Neilands (Israel-Premier Tech), Van Gils (Lotto-Dstny) and Barguil (Arkéa-Samsic). The pace is steady at the front as well as at the head of the peloton, no one is there to put on pearls! The Col de la Croix des Moinats makes it possible to make a new selection at the front, where only 6 riders play the leading roles: Barguil, Neilands, Van Gils are celebrating! In this stage, another runner is on a mission. Pinot (Groupama-FDJ) is taking part in his last Tour de France and the Franc-Comtois is riding today at home. He knows these roads by heart. In the most demanding percentages of this difficulty, revolted, over-motivated, transcended, he leaves the peloton and returns alone to the breakaway. A tiger ready to roar!No time to take a breather, no intermission is offered to the artists of this 110 e...Show me more

Back on the stage 11th Clermont-Ferrand > MoulinsMathis Louvel in the breakaway of the day, Coquard 4th, Mozzato 7th.New breakaway at kilometer 0. This consists of a trio in which we find Mathis Louvel for Arkéa-Samsic, accompanied by Daniel Oss and Andrey Amador. The fugitives widen the gap, which will reach 3 minutes and 20 seconds. At km 109, Philipsen and Coquard are fighting for fourth place in the intermediate sprint. The Belgian is the strongest. At 53 kilometers from the finish, Mathis rejoins the peloton after more than 120 terminals passed at the front. The victory is then decided in the sprint: fifth sprint and fifth TOP10 for Bryan Coquard (Cofidis) who takes a good 4th place. He declared, lucid: “Given the positioning I had per kilometer, 4th is well paid!” Note the 7th place of the Italian rider Luca Mozzato (Arkéa-Samsic), author a few days ago of a top 4 in Bordeaux (stage 7). © photo credit SirottShow me more

Kévin Vauquelin (General ranking): The panache of youthWith textile, premium glasses, AR14 helmetAfter 10 podiums in 2022, Kévin Vauquelin confirms the hopes placed in him at the start of the 2023 season. Already at his best during the Etoile de Bessèges, the Arkéa-Samsic rider made his mark during this Azure triptych. He was predicted to be a thunderbolt, and he responded like a boss. The Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var hosted a tempting lineup with several tricolor cadors of the peloton: Thibaut Pinot, Romain Bardet, David Gaudu... Listed among the outsiders, Kévin Vauquelin finally did not tremble during the last two stages, finishing 3rd in each of them. In the game of bonuses and yet the only representative of his formation in the final 50 kilometers, Kévin Vauquelin took his responsibilities by attacking, sometimes, following the right wheels, often. Last Marseillaise for Maxime Bouetwith EKOI helmet and EKOI PREMIIUM glassesLast Marseillaise for the most Marseilles of this event“The Grand Prix de la Marseillaise is an event that is close to my heart because it takes place at home, especially since this year the Tour de la Provence will not take place. I finished second once in this race which I know by heart, and last year we won it. Just thinking about that memory still gives me chills. Yvon Caer assigned me a role: road captain, I am perhaps the rider who has competed the most in this race. And if 40 kilometers from the finish, Amaury passed the bump, he had to get in my wheel until the line. He listened, did what I advised him, and we played really well on the tactical moments. It remains a great moment in my career, I played my role to perfection, and I take a certain pride in it, in the same way as if I had won the race, for example. We see more and more that the riders who pass the bumps well and have a good burst of speed are going for victory in Marseille, and that moreover this panel is growing season after season”.C: ARKEA SAMSICShow me more

New Helmets for ARKEA SAMSIC teamHelmet EKOI AR14 & EKOI GARAFor the 2022 Tour de France, the ARKEA SAMSIC team will wear 2 EKOI helmets with a specific design, the Breton Ermine. Would you like to know why the Ermine is the emblem of Brittany? In 1202, the Duchess of Brittany Alix married the Duke Pierre de Dreux. At the time, only the eldest of the children could keep the family crest, the other children had to 'break the arms', ie add a break, a distinctive sign. Pierre de Dreux had added a break of ermine flecks to the family coat of arms. This is how the ermine made its appearance in Brittany. The ermine is to the Duke of Brittany what the lily is to the King of France, two symbols of purity.Show me more

Since the start of the season, I have always worked, I have never panicked. Today, we took matters into our own hands. When we found ourselves three in front in the final, I knew that victory could not escape us. This race is really important for the team and I managed to surpass myself while I had cramps. Yesterday we recognized the key sectors, Yvon Caër our sports director lives in Lannilis and he was even more motivated than us. Anthony Delaplace winner of Paris-CamembertWith Ekoï helmet, glasses, and clothingThe 33-year-old Norman added the last race in his territory which was missing from his list: Paris-Camembert. In a group of five riders, he surprised everyone just over a kilometer from the finish to raise his arms alone in Livarot. Anthony Delaplace“I tend to be too generous in the effort. In the last 20 kilometres, Arnaud Gérard told me "play the mariole, don't overdo it". For once I listened to him and this good effort management is what may have helped me to win today. When Valentin Ferron came out, he dug the hole immediately then we took turns, I managed my effort. We came back to him and everyone wanted to take a breather. This is where I landed the right attack. Usually that never happens to me, there, they looked behind each other.Everything is working out for our Arkéa Samsic team this year. My role all year round is to be a team member and today I had my chance at Paris-Camembert. I really wanted to do well in this race. It was my 13th participation in Paris-Camembert. I haven't missed an edit since I became a pro. It's really a pleasure to win at home. I finished second in 2016. It was the Normandy race that I had to win. Now I have a little problem: I once said in a joking tone, if I win Paris-Camembert, I end my career. But honestly I don't want to stop! (laughs)”.Show me more

SECOND VICTORY FOR WARREN BARGUILwith EKOÏ AR14 helmet and EKOÏ TWENTY glassesA few weeks after his stage victory at Fermo over Tirreno-Adriatico, Warren Barguil won the Grand Prix Miguel Indurain in Navarre. The Breton runner raised his arms during a small committee sprint in Estella. “It was really a tight sprint where I was behind but I had speed. As my father always told me: a sprinter he always has to do the sprint. I'm a climber-sprinter, let's say! (laughs)I'm just happy with this victory. I didn't turn into the position I wanted in the final stretch but I managed to sprint at the end. The team did a great job. After the penultimate passage of the climb, it attacked on the last lap. I stayed in the peloton to save myself and my teammates did a great job to come back. This morning when I woke up I thought we weren't going to leave because there was a lot of snow. With our clothes that we have now, we were not too cold, we were well covered. I discovered myself at the last moment, 15 kilometers from the finish. I took off my jacket, my leggings and that's it for the last climb.I don't win a lot and there I already win twice this year after my victory over Tirreno-Adriatico. I think it's the positive spiral of the Arkéa Samsic team that also gives this confidence: I return to a good level, I make the right choices... It's quite simply the right spiral! » C: Luis Gómez / Sprint Cycling AgencyShow me more

First bouquet for Nacer Bouhanniwith EKOÏ AR14 helmet and EKOÏ E-LENS glassesThe ARKEA SAMSIC team rider wins for the first time this season. It is also the team's 7th victory for 2022. "I've been circling around winning since the start of the season, and I'm making it happen today by winning this first success, the 70th since the start of my career since my professional debut. We were outnumbered at the start compared to the other teams, Cofidis drove, then we put Kévin Ledanois to drive after 100 kilometers. This race was complicated with the series of bumps in the final, but the most important thing for me was that I arrived at the sprint, even if I was not taken. It was necessary to padlock the cobbled parts until the arrival on the final circuit. Kévin Vauquelin, who took a last big stint to come back to the breakaway, was very important, as was Alan Riou. Laurent Pichon and Kévin Vauquelin did a great job on the last lap, I would like to say a big thank you to the whole team”. C:LNC-BRUNO BADEShow me more
