Demanding, perfectionist, Anthony has made his place in the professional peloton since 2010. Generous puncher, he proved it by winning twice the price of combativeness on the Tour de France (2015 &2016).
2017, he was deprived of his 7th Tour de France following a broken collarbone. A few months earlier, Anthony had returned to victory at home on the Tour of Normandy. He impressed by winning solo on the first stage & keeping his yellow leader's jersey all week.
It was already on his land, where he had won the Polynormande 6 years earlier.
To believe hat his region is successful for him : He won in 2017 on the Duo Normand with his teammate Pierre-Luc Périchon. To stop with the bike, it is towards gastronomy that the Norman turns. Maybe one day he will be a restaurateur, but by then he has set himself the goal of winning at least once far from Normandy.

In a group of five riders, he surprised everyone just over a kilometer from the finish to raise his arms alone in Livarot. Anthony Delaplace“I tend to be too generous in the effort. In the last 20 kilometres, Arnaud Gérard told me "play the mariole, don't overdo it". For once I listened to him and this good effort management is what may have helped me to win today. When Valentin Ferron came out, he dug the hole immediately then we took turns, I managed my effort. We came back to him and everyone wanted to take a breather. This is where I landed the right attack. Usually that never happens to me, there, they looked behind each other.Everything is working out for our Arkéa Samsic team this year. My role all year round is to be a team member and today I had my chance at Paris-Camembert. I really wanted to do well in this race. It was my 13th participation in Paris-Camembert. I haven't missed an edit since I became a pro. It's really a pleasure to win at home. I finished second in 2016. It was the Normandy race that I had to win.
