Pedro DELGADO
Pedro Delgado is a key figure in Spanish cycling. Born in 1960, the Spanish rider has more than 18 top ten finishes in major tours to his credit.
Passed into the professional ranks in 1982, he imposed himself as early as 1983, on the Tour de France where his climbing skills were highlighted. It will be two years later, that he will confirm his place by winning his first Vuelta.
In 1988 he changed teams to go to Renolds and will win his first Tour de France. During his career, PEdro Delgado will win 3 grand tours and 9 stage wins.
Since 1994, when he finished his career, El Perico as he is known, comments on bicycle races on Spanish television.
